Education

Education for your children is good but you need to decide whether you prefer (and can afford) private education or whether you are happy for your children to attend Spanish state schools. The latter have benefits when it comes to language skills being developed but as I said in the education chapter it can pose problems during teenage years when children are at their most difficult in terms of building relationships or being unkind to their peers. Unhappy children are not conducive to a happy new life in the sun for the parents.
