Saga recently asked me to write an article on the savings you can make with your mobile phone contract. It always surprises me that people allow their contracts to expire and yet not discuss better terms with their suppliers.
A clients of mine who had a ‘bells and whistles’ contract saved themselves nearly £350 a year by discussing their contract with their network supplier and re-negotiating terms. In these straitened times we can ill-afford to let £10 slip from our pockets, let alone £350! But this is only the beginning of the savings we can make as virtually all our consumer needs can be analysed and better deals sought.
