ADDRESS LABELS FOR MAILING RELEASES

If you end up with a fairly hefty distribution list and you are a Microsoft Word user, creating and printing address labels for envelopes is quite a simple operation. If you haven’t done this before, here’s a step-by-step guide.

  • On the Tools menu, point to Letter and Mailings, and then click Mail Merge Wizard.
  • Under Select document type, click Labels. The active document then becomes the main document.
  • Click Next: starting document.
  • Select your Label Options dialog box to suit the labels you intend to use; type, size, number of labels per page, etc.
  • Your active document will appear with the background outlines of the labels visible on screen. Simply type in the address, then tab across to the next label. Extra pages are added automatically. Remember to save the document for future use.
