Make It Short And Sweet
MAKE IT SHORT AND SWEET
Forget what they taught you at evening classes about writing sophisticated and stylistic prose. Try for short, crisp sentences of no more than 25 words, written in good English, and paragraphs of no more than 10 lines. Focus on getting factual information over to the editor. Assume he has no sense of humour, so don’t put in touches of satire or try to make it amusing.
