IMAGE AND STANDARDS

Your image and standards also send a message to customers and potential customers. The way you present yourself, your pub, your staff, your standards and your levels of service send out a strong message to the public. These must be consistent with your objectives for the business and your marketing plan. If your objective is to promote your pub as a high quality food establishment, a dirty pub or dishevelled staff will work against you, even if your food is first-rate. Make sure that your overall image and standards are compatible with achieving your objectives and not sending mixed messages to your customers.
