Emergency helipad

As mentioned elsewhere, in considering emergency helicopter evacuation, seek advice. If the event you are organising is likely to generate serious injuries (motor racing, horse riding/racing/jumping etc.) you may wish to set aside an area to be used as an emergency helipad for helicopter paramedics and evacuation of anyone who is seriously injured. Discussions with the appropriate authority will guide you as to size, location, fences, power lines etc. that will need to be considered.
