Format
Any format will do, as long as it meets the needs of the people using it. I like to produce all of the above material and pages that will be used frequently so that they will resist being torn, withstand spilled tea and rain etc., but still be readable. I do this by laminating them!
The pages can be grouped in a four-ring binder; as die document is used frequently, a two-ring binder allows too much movement of the pages and can allow-even laminated pages to be torn out in error.
Though the event manager should be familiar with the manual and know its contents, the sections should be marked with clearly written dividers, so that in an emergency, the event manager or nominated deputy, depending on circumstances, can turn straight to the appropriate section.
