Lost property

Members of the public will want to report losing property and others will want to report and hand in property that they have found. Police do not normally deal with lost property relating to a private event ground, so the event manager’s office must handle it.

Records must be kept of who found the property and what it was. Records must be kept detailing property that is reported lost. If a person comes in claiming they have lost something that has been handed in and you are happy that they are the rightful owners, you can reunite them after recording their details.
