Note your star players and dunces

Team leaders and section heads should indicate in their reports which members of their staff were their stars. Be very careful about making negative comments in writing about anyone. That could be very demoralising and in the current climate might leave you open to legal action under some obscure European legislation!

If the event was a success you will probably want to arrange a similar event next year. If you make a note now of the staff who were particularly good and effective in their jobs, you have the core of a good team for next year and a ready-made team of supervisors and team leaders. Better still, they are now experienced, know the event, and you all know each other, so you have the makings of a good team.
