Progress – Chapter 4

You should now:

• realise that you will have to plan if your event is to succeed,
• realise that you will need to research and investigate and contact a host of other organisations and authorities to collect sufficient information to allow you to make decisions regarding your event,
• realise that planning is an iterative process and that even though your plan has been frozen, you will still have to make minor adjustments to deliver a safe and successful event, and
• possibly have read the project management supplement (Annex A).
