Progress – Chapter 6

You should now:

  • realise that there is an infinite number of event types,
  • know how to define your available skills etc. to decide on an event type,
  • be keeping records,
  • have reviewed the basic event types and be aware of possible limitations and restrictions,
  • be aware that to confirm the viability of an ‘obvious choice’, will need as much investigation and research as for any other possible event type,
  • have decided on an event type to aim for,
  • have drawn up an event outline for your selected event type, attempting to keep that outline to one side of an A4 page, and
  • have made a checkpoint presentation and had your selection approved – delivering your event type.

Product completed

  • A one-page event outline.
  • Records of your research and decisions.
  • Checkpoint review – authorisation to continue.
