Progress – Chapter 8
Progress – Chapter 8
You should now:
- realise that you need to profile your target audience and that you have two options – you can start with a pre-defined audience (school, club members, etc.) and then to find and book attractions that they want to see, or start with an event theme and attractions and try to find an audience that will come to see them, and
- recognise that if you start with a pre-defined audience, a major worry is resolved because you have the audience, but you still have to deliver an event they will come to and possibly pay to get in to. Profiling a captive pre-defined audience is easier, because you know them, know where they come from and what their interests are and as a last resort you can go and ask them what they want to see at your event.
