Restrictions/requirements

Your insurer may well impose requirements and restrictions on you and your event. For example they may insist that all staff are over 21 years of age, or that anyone driving a vehicle has a clean driving record with no convictions for speeding or other driving offences. They could demand that you arrange for a safety inspection of all electrical and mechanical installations and provide them with a copy of the safety certificate issued before your event opens to the public.

Even though you have adopted safety as a key priority, you must listen to and abide by any restrictions or requirements imposed on you by your insurer.
