If you have more than half a dozen staff you need a process to keep track of them. I suggest that all staff must report to the event manager’s office to sign on duty and sign off duty. This has many benefits; for example you have a ready record of which staff are working on site at any time. In an emergency you can tell the police, fire and ambulance crews who was working at the time of the incident. If somebody calls and needs to urgently trace a member of staff, the event manager knows if they are on site working and can contact them.
