Take everything into account

Specific event themes may well impose variable limitations on the day, date and time the event can be run. Make absolutely sure that you have taken everything into account, thoroughly investigated and considered every aspect of the event you have in mind, as well as reviewing any rules, regulations and limits on the running of that event.

For a new event, it is worth presenting your findings to the deputy event manager and a few invited guests (perhaps members of a similar club or group from the next city), to get a sanity check on your assumptions, decisions and arrangements.
