Who are our competitors?

These may be different for different product ranges or service types if your company is very diverse. Everyone in your business is not a competitor – for instance, Sainsbury’s competes with Tesco, but although they offer some similar products, neither of them really compete directly with Fortnum and Mason or Harrods Food Hall. However, Sainsbury’s and Tesco may also overlap in services with small independent grocery stores, with high street banks and loan companies, with petrol stations and with local fruit and vegetable markets.
