Winners of the December Competition

We are pleased to announce the winners of the December writing competition. Their cheques for £50 are in the post!

The winners are:

Lorraine Jennings for How to Get Your Article Published

On winning the December competition, Lorraine said:

‘I'm always over the moon to have any article of mine accepted for publication as it gives me faith in myself as a writer. To win a competition and therefore be pronnounced as good as or better than other writers on the site is unbelievable. It's a real boost to my confidence and convinces me that I'm on the right track. Thank you.’

Jane Grimshaw for How to Find Story Ideas

Jane had this to say on being one of the winners:

'I’m absolutely delighted to have won a prize in the ‘How To’ competition, and I hope that my article will help other writers to find great ideas for their stories.'

Andrew Bax for How to Hive a Swarm

Andrew's comment on being a December winner was:

‘Beginner's luck! I have entered several competitions for creative writing without succcess and this is my first attempt at non-fiction. I am a student at the Open University, having retired recently from publishing as a profession and bee-keeping as a hobby.’

We at How To would like to congratulate the three winners, and look forward to reading more of their work.
