LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

At some point, the initial period of unrest and change will be over. It is time to now set about becoming the great dad that you always knew you wanted to be, and to build a relationship where you can inspire and have a lot of fun with your children. The first few months are the most emotional and in many ways the hardest time that you will have, but developing a simple parenting plan, which can be built on for later, is a great start. You will encounter problems, you will have some heartache and you will have to compromise a lot. But you can pull through and prosper.

You will get through it. Time stops for no man nor his children, and the natural course of your separation and divorce will take its course, just like thousands of dads around you going through the same process every day.
